In August and September 2005, Saltgrass learned that we had been awarded two grants! We received help for general operating support from Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP), and funding to help support a special master class workshop from Salt Lake City, CityArts.

We're very grateful to these funding agencies for their support!

BIG NEWS! In March 2005 Saltgrass Printmakers received official 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the IRS! This status is effectively back-dated to Jan 2004 when the non-profit corporation was formed.

This means that your contributions to Saltgrass are tax deductible, and it also means that we can apply for grants from foundations (they usually require non-profit status). Any grant-writers or fund-raisers out there who want to help? Let us know!

It was a long and
involved process, but
it finally worked! Yay!
