We’ll begin with the basic how-to’s of the reductive relief printmaking process. This expressive medium, for beginning and intermediate printmakers, will be explored through demonstrations that include carving techniques, using a simple registration system, and printing with the press or by hand. We will investigate color saturation and experiment with ‘rainbow’ rolls.
